I was born near Gary, Indiana; lived in Florida for 18+ years and moved to Tennessee in 2010.  I was tired of 365 days of Florida heat and humidity, but not willing to return to the north, so my wife, Laura, and I decided to go "half way back" and landed in La Vergne.

I've been a pet lover my entire life, and had my first dog at the age of 3.  I am currently the dedicated Dad and servant to our beloved Balinese cat, Swiffer, whose photo graces the home page of this site.

About 10 years ago, friends and associates started asking me to care for their pets and homes when they were out of town.  I enjoyed the work immensely, and decided to establish Dom's Pets and Property.   I am an extremely careful person, with a high level of awareness, that lets me recognize small issues before they become large problems.  I get along well with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, always letting the pet drive the relationship.  I am very careful and will treat your property and pets with the utmost of respect and care.

My other passions (not necessarily in order of importance) are music (I play bass); my Harley 2007 Soft tail deluxe and my lovely wife, Laura (who puts up with both the bass AND the Harley!)
